All-on-4

Four implants can support a full denture.

After losing your natural teeth, you may worry that you´ll never have a strong, stunning smile again. With help from Emergency Dental Solution, that doesn´t have to be the case. We feature both the All-on-4 and All-on-6 dental implant methods.

Unlike other implant-supported dentures, these techniques use just four or six implants per dental arch. Once abutments are attached to each dental implant, we can secure a custom denture in place.

Typically, we will give you a temporary denture as your implants fuse to your jaw. In the three to six months, you´ll return for your final denture.

From one to three business days.

At Emergency Dental Solutions, we feature both All-on-4 dental implants and All-on-6 dental implants. When compared to both traditional dentures and other implant dentures, they have advantages like:

  • Easier Patient Qualification
You may have already explored traditional dental implants, only to realize you don´t have the bone tissue to quality. The All-on-4 technique is different. It uses fewer implants placed at strategic angles and locations in your jaw, preventing the need for a bone graft and allowing for easier qualification.
  • Immediate Restoration Placement
Living without a beautiful, functional smile can be extremely stressful. We understand that completely, which is why we´re happy to say that All-on-4 implants can be restored immediately with a temporary denture.
  • Natural-Looking Results
Unlike traditional dentures, your implant-supported dentures will not slip out of place. Because your dentures will de fixed securely in your mouth, they will look and function better than removable dentures. Not to mention, our lab will craft your new dentures with your exact measurements and smile in mind.

Process:

  1. Consultation and Planning: The process begins with a detailed consultation, during which your dentist will perform a comprehensive examination of your mouth, including X-rays, 3D imaging, and digital scans. This helps in assessing the condition of your jawbone and planning the precise placement of the implants. Your dentist will also discuss your expectations, explain the procedure, and create a customized treatment plan.
  2. Implant Placement: On the day of the procedure, the dentist will place four dental implants into the jawbone. These implants are typically positioned at specific angles to maximize the use of available bone and provide optimal support for the replacement teeth. The procedure is usually done under local anesthesia, but sedation may be offered for added comfort.
  3. Immediate Placement of Temporary Prosthesis: One of the key advantages of the All-on-4® technique is that a temporary set of teeth can often be attached to the implants on the same day as the surgery. This means you won’t have to go without teeth during the healing process. The temporary prosthesis will allow you to eat and speak while your gums and bone heal around the implants.
  4. Healing and Osseointegration: Over the next few months, the implants will undergo a process called osseointegration, where they fuse with the jawbone, creating a solid foundation for the permanent teeth. During this period, you will follow a specific diet to ensure proper healing and avoid putting excessive pressure on the implants.
  5. Final Prosthesis Placement: Once healing is complete, the temporary teeth are replaced with a custom-made permanent prosthesis. This final set of teeth is designed to look natural and fit comfortably in your mouth, providing a long-lasting solution for your smile.
  6. Follow-Up Care: Regular dental check-ups and proper oral hygiene are crucial to the success of the All-on-4® implants. Your dentist will provide you with care instructions and schedule follow-up visits to ensure the implants are functioning well and your oral health is maintained.
